My name is Neal Stone, I am 52 years old, single and I’ve been living in Mississippi for over four years to start a new life.
Born in Germany and raised in Washington State since the age of two. My father and mother divorced when I was two years old and I lost contact with my father for over 45 years until a chance finding on Facebook lead me to family down south and then eventually dad.
I lived in Olympia, WA most of my life and always enjoyed the outdoors. In 2000 I started to take up photography as a hobby and in 2012 purchased myself a Nikon D3200 and enjoy doing photography here in the south.
I was an avid cyclist most of my life, but good ol’ Mississippi is not bicycle friendly so now I drive most everywhere I go, but walk or run when I can. I enjoy the outdoors and road trips and going to the beach.
I am an avid writer and write primarily short stories, analogies, poetry, sharing of ideas and life lessons or whatever comes to mind. My goal is to write a novel soon.
Things I enjoy altogether, photography, writing, reading, blogging, cycling, road trips, the beach or river, walking and running, art, cheesy/Sci-Fi/horror movies (I have a few good ones too I enjoy), snorkeling when I can, rocking to tunes in my car or while walking, grilling on the bayou where I live, exploring new places and just anything fun that comes up. Some days I just enjoy chilling and taking it easy.
I worked in IT for over 11 years before the move and now work security at a local casino. I enjoy my job and have a great bunch of people I work with.
Movies I recommend:
Hector and the Search for Happiness
Away We Go
All the Evil Dead and Living Dead movies.
House of 1,000 Corpses, The Devil’s Rejects and 31 by Rob Zombie
The first four are awesome movies that will make you think about life and what really matters.
